Wow, judulnya horor aja ya.. hahaha!
Hello! Long time no see.. Pemalas sekali daku, sampe abandoned blog ini berbulan2, oh well.. :P
What now?? Kali ini kita curhat aja yaaa.. I find it studying here in holland (or probably most of western countries) pretty much requires much of your time and hard work.. Why?? Because I've experienced myself, how I'm struggling with all the books, the readings, the papers. Have to raise myself up after failing 1 course and have to take resit exam, i've been drowning myself to a 600 pages book and other lots of material in 1 WEEK time before the resit exam (I've NEVER done that in my whole life as a student back in Indonesia, for as long as I can remember, I only study pretty much the day before I have an exam but never fail in any course!). Jangan ditiru ya adik2ku sayang.. hahaha. And now after those storm in the first semester gone, I have to deal with the new horror, my final thesis.. And also along with 3 new courses.. :)
Well, sebenernya kalo gw tuh org yg rajin bgt sih mungkin ga akan sekaget ini yaaaa.. Karena struggle yg gw bahas disini tuh bukannya struggle yg artinya disini materinya susah & ga bisa diikutin, ga juga.. Tp struggle untuk ngerubah karakter lazy student gw ke paling ga mediocre student lah.. hehehe. The point is, we'll find that what we learn is easy if we just simply use our time to read, read, read!! Jd beruntunglah orang2 yg gemar membaca, buku itu memang sumber ilmu, tp bukunya bukan majalah atau komik loh ya (sadly, those are the things I enjoy reading.. huhuhu..). Nah, gara2 pengalaman fail kmrn ini nih, I promise myself to try and be better, to try and read more than I use too (ya emg harus juga sih klo skrg, kalo ga bahan utk thesis dpt darimana mbakkkk.. wkwkwk). Tapi prakteknya?? susah banget... ngumpulin moodnya itu loh, ampun2an!! walaupun gw merasa sih skrg gw udah lbh rajin sih buat baca2 drpd sebelomnya.. & untuk jangka panjang, nanti kalo punya anak mau diajarin untuk suka baca!! Amin ya Allah.. :)
Now, moving on to the good news, gw baru aja daftarin supervisor thesis ke web universitas.. Kenapa ini good news?? karena untuk nyari supervisor ini perjuangan tersendiri.. Sampe minggu lalu, I still have no idea who is the lecturer in my university that focuses on refugee law (topik tesisnya tentang ini soalnya). Mata kuliah refugee law yg harusnya di semester 1, diundur jd semester 2b, alhasil gw akan belajar all about refugee law justru pas tesis gw (insyaAllah) udah hampir selesai. Apa artinya?? Untuk sekarang, ya gw mesti belajar sendiri dulu all about refugee. Nah, koordinator program gw yg akhirnya nyaranin untuk hubungin profesor di bidang refugee law itu minggu lalu, langsung gw email, orangnya baru bisa ketemu pertengahan maret untuk bahas outline padahal deadline kumpulin outline. Alhamdulilah bgt pas gw kasih tau soal deadline, profesornya ok untuk jd supervisor & outline bs gw email dulu aja ke dia.. hehehe. I really wish I have a nice and great thesis supervisor.. hihi.
Nah, terakhir, yg bikin semua rintangan itu worth it.. My traveling hobby!! hehe. Membebaskan diri dulu dari kantor without quitting & bisa traveling tuh sangat amat menyenangkan!! hehe. And even better, skrg travelingnya udah sama suami.. hehe. Jadi walaupun ada kota tujuan travel yg udah pernah gw datengin sebelomnya, tetep aja jd kaya pertama kali karena bareng suami.. hihihi. Kita awal2 sampe belanda lgsg travel ke Paris, trus sempet ngunjungin om di Koln, akhir tahun 2013 kita tur (hahaha!) ke Brussels, Koln (again, maklum deh si om kangen.. haha), Wina, Praha & Berlin. But we did spend the new year at home, just the 2 of us.. :) Lalu, awal tahun ini kita jalan2 lg, ke Milan dan Venice. Terus awal Februari kalo ga salah, kita main ke Munchen, kebetulan ada temennya suami yg lg disana.. hehe. Pengalaman kita berdua traveling bakal gw bahas di meandmydawn (tempat2 yg kita kunjungin, hotel tempat kita nginep, tempat makan, tips2 & basically everything that I have to share deh.. hehe)
Selanjutnya lg merencanakan beberapa itinerary nih.. Mdh2an semua yg rencananya mau kesini nengok skalian jalan2 pada jadi dateng & rencana gw nengok mama-papa jg jadi.. Aminnnn..
In the meantime, wish me luck on my thesis & the rest of my study ya!! :))
